Nadia Rachdaoui, M.Sc., Ph.D.

Founder and CEO

Bio. Dr. Rachdaoui is the founder of NutrArgan and is currently serving as its CEO. She supports current and new collaborations for NutrArgan and provides scientific oversight. She has over 20 years of research experience in cellular and molecular biology, and in hormonal and nutrient regulation of cellular and metabolic processes. She earned her Ph.D. in Cellular & Molecular Pathophysiology of Nutritional & Inflammatory Diseases from Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris 6, France). Dr. Rachdaoui completed her post-doctoral studies in the Department of Nutrition at Case Western Reserve University. She then held faculty positions, first at the Department of Medicine, in the Division of Clinical and Molecular Endocrinology (Case Western Reserve University) and second at Rutgers University. Dr. Rachdaoui has authored and contributed to multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, co-authored several book chapters and shared her work in scientific presentations at conferences, nationally and internationally

Scientific Adviser

Bio. Dr. McGuinness is Professor of Molecular Physiology & Biophysics at Vanderbilt University, School of Medicine. He’s the director of the Vanderbilt Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Center (Metabolic Pathophysiology Core), the Associate Director of the Diabetes Research and Training Center and an expert in assessing metabolic flux and nutrient bioavailability in multiple model systems using tracer methodology. He earned his B.Sc. in Biology at the State University of New York (Stony Brook, NY) and his Ph.D. in Physiology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine (New Orleans, LA). Dr. McGuinness serves as a scientific adviser for NutrArgan.

Financial Adviser

Bio. Mr. Damiano serves as the financial adviser for NutrArgan. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of experience running his own accounting firm (Robert Damiano, CPA, LLC). His practice focuses on accounting for small and medium size businesses, non-profits, and trusts. He received his Masters of Science in Accounting-Summa Cum Laude at Bloomfield college. He’s a member of the American Institute of CPA and of the New Jersey Society of CPA.
